“By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35. We have an indigenous missionary team in Sierra Leone. During the war in Sierra Leone and Liberia the rebels cut off arms and hands to create terror. An unknown multitude were mutilated. We were given 34 prosthetic hands which we fitted on those in need. We know of 206 more that are needed. We show them love and compassion. We give them what they want so we can give them what they need. The need of all humanity is eternal salvation.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,” Matthew 25:35. We have an Ivorian refugee camp close to us. The UN no longer provides for the refugees, the refugees have to fend for themselves. Refugee camps are a place of suffering, hunger and unnecessary death. But can you imagine how much worse it would be for the blind and the lame? We go to the refugee camp and provide food assistance for the blind and the lame.
Report from Sierra Leone:
Our indigenous missionary team is working with the Teneme-Banta tribe. It is the most unreached tribe of Sierra Leone. Most towns have more than one active mosque. Our team was led by our Lord to a specific town. They were allowed to do a day long training. 136 attended and afterwards several commitments to Christ were made and 10 were baptized. A fellowship of believers has started. We show up in obedience. Our Lord has people prepared and waiting for His Disciples to come. Romans 10:14-15 says, “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Disciples making disciples:
We evangelize and disciple. We have been doing this for 13 years. We are doing what Paul instructed Timothy to do, “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.” 2 Timothy 2:2. This is a testimony we received from disciples we have trained in the past. The team reported, “We bless God for His great work in our 2-day training. 72 persons attended and 11 were baptized.” It is not unusual for teams to hike for hours through water and dangerous conditions to share the gospel with the hard to reach. They call it, “the struggle”. The fruit of the struggle is salvations of the lost. It is worth the struggle. They do it often without financial compensation.

- Praise: A team from Valley Bible Church, in California, is coming to assist us in December
- Praise: 2 American missionary trainees are with us. Their purpose is to be trained as missionaries. Their desire is to go, as missionaries, to the unreached tribes with the gospel. Max Kubik and Henry Combs have completed 5 months of their 7-month commitment.
- Praise: Our new indigenous missionary team to Guinea is preparing to be sent out to spy out the land, seeking for the place our Lord would have them settle. “Rejoice before the LORD your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name.” Deut 16:11
- Pray: Please pray for our safety as we continue to boldly and fearlessly march into and live within the strongholds of Satan to, “snatch others from the fire and save them.” Jude 1:23.
- Pray: “Finally, our friends, pray for us that the Lord’s message may continue to spread rapidly and be received with honor, just as it was among you. Pray also that God will rescue us from wicked and evil people; for not everyone believes the message.” 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2.
