Our Mission is to see a healthy church in every village of Liberia.  It takes many weapons to fight and win a war.  Wordsower Liberia has many weapons:

Our Weapons:

Praise God!! We have 11 new motorbikes on the road!  Currently, teams are using them to spread His Gospel, discipling, church planting, and training existing church leaders. Some of the bikes are being used to put water filter systems in the homes of remote small villages.  We are dancing, rejoicing, and celebrating!

I, Kim, now have one year, multiple entry visas for Ivory Coast and Nigeria.  I also have a round-trip plane ticket for Nigeria.  I fly out of Liberia on December 9th and return back to Liberia from Nigeria on January 4th.  We are just an hour from the Ivorian boarder and will go there on bikes.

Wordsower Liberia started in refugee camps for Liberians in Ghana.  In 2019, we plan on having indigenous missionary teams in all 5 unreached tribes of Liberia.  Also, next year we will be opening a new mission in Ivory Coast.  This Ivorian mission was birthed in refugee camps for Ivorians in Liberia and will be led by former refugees that were trained by Wordsower Liberia.  The primary mission of Wordsower Ivory Coast will be to train and send indigenous missionaries into the 32 unreached tribes of 7 million people.

Now we head to Nigeria.  Nigeria has refugee camps with over 2.4 million refugees plus another 4.5 million people who are depending on food assistance for survival.  Malnutrition, starvation, disease, and death sweep through these camps and the land of Northern Nigeria. It is the militant Muslims that are massacring the church and even their fellow Muslims.  The refugee camps are a strategic place to bring the Gospel to the unreached tribes.  Refugees from most of the tribes enter the camps having lost everything including the cultural isolation of their tribe and Islamic overseers.  In the loss, confusion, chaos, suffering, and violence caused by their Muslim brothers, there is a new openness to His Gospel.  We, His church, must be there! We must be there to care for His persecuted Church, to bring His Gospel to the unreached tribes, and to the militant Muslims.  Just as it has happened in Liberia and the Ivory Coast it will be the converted in the camps that will one day return to their tribes with His Gospel.  A perfect storm of sorts…if we show up!
