“As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. “Truly I tell you,”He said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.” Luke 21:1-4

Our trained disciples are like the poor widow. Out of their poverty they put in everything they have to live on! Suffering, hardship and poverty is not all bad. These are able to strengthen and remove idols. Soldiers, of the world, are trained and battle hardened through deprivation. Our soldiers, of the cross, are trained and battle ready also. They go where they are not wanted, nor invited, to present the gospel of Christ, that through faith brings eternal salvation. On Christ the solid Rock we stand! What Christ said to Peter thousands of years ago He says to His Church today. “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” Matthew 16:18. We enter the strongholds of Satan and always see their foundations crumble. We fearlessly enter churchless, Christian-less towns and villages of resistant unreached tribes. Never have we entered such places and not seen salvations, baptisms and a unity of new believers!

A testimony about one of our disciples that gave like the widow:

“Wordsower Sierra Leone is in tears! Two hours ago, we lost one of our Field Leaders in Yelisanda. The cause of the death of our brother Bashiru Tawarallie is unknown. He was a Muslim and converted to Christianity in 2021. He provided us his land where Wordsower built her first church in Sierra Leone. Bashiru was only 32 years old. He was a spiritual leader and a sacrificial soldier of the cross that produced fruit, much fruit. He left his wife and two little children.” His legacy reminds me of these verses: “All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.” Acts 2:46. And “Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail… For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Luke 12:33-34. Buried without a casket in poverty on earth. But now the treasures of heaven are no longer waiting for him! Often the common of earth are not the common of heaven.

Testimonies of our indigenous missionaries sent into the unreached tribes:

“Today is another blessed and wonderful day for the team in Sierra Leone. Four solid and vigilant teams are going to the battlefield to make the gospel available for the glory of God. We strongly believe that we can find the lost when we go to where others are not willing to go. We sacrifice with commitment and passion. Everybody everywhere needs to hear the gospel. Bravo soldiers and go in peace as led by the Spirit of God through the grace of Jesus Christ… Reach the Lost, they need the gospel from you as missionaries. We are to sacrifice for our Lord Jesus Christ. Making the gospel available to every person for the glory of God.”

“Glory be to God! We were led by the Holy Spirit to a community called Kerefay Themne. We showed the Jesus film. After we showed five persons gave their names to be baptized. Many of the Muslims of the town were very angry and made threats to the new converts. The following day when we returned, no one came to be baptized. We returned a few days later, and by the grace of God we were able to baptize sixteen people. Kerefay Themne community is an unreached area. The new little fellowship is really zealous. They are asking us to help them construct a church building to worship in! Let the almighty God render his protection upon these new converts. Everybody, everywhere, needs the gospel.”

“There is a community with in Bopolu City called Dark Forest where we showed the Jesus film. A 56-year-old woman accepted Christ and confessed that she was a witch but from watching the show she has repented and will never return to the demon life. Please be in prayer as she becomes part of our Lord’s Christian family.”

Falie Town is a Muslim stronghold and the central worship site of the Animistic demonic society for several regions. We were told that a church has never been on their sacred grounds and never will. Today there is a healthy church there! The church building in Falie is nearly complete. But there is much resistance. The Muslims and Animists don’t want the church in Falie. Below is the current persecution we are encountering:
“I went to visit Falie church yesterday. James Kollie, the church pastor, told me that he was sued and taken to the paramount Chief because the town’s children are going to church and are singing Jesus Christ songs and calling Jesus Christ name every day. The children refuse to fast and will not go to the mosque. James is the one responsible, he the one that is convincing our children not to go in the mosque. We will be going to Vonzula Town for the case. Please be in prayer with us.”

Another attack and persecution we are now dealing with in another county:
“A 12-man council meeting is scheduled from the 21-26 of this month. We have to go to the Polkpa District to address the secret society’s complaints. There are also complaints against Wordsower Africa by Imans (Imans are the Muslim spiritual leaders) of three districts. Please pray about this meeting.”

“Sad news one of our Wordsower field leaders, by the name of James Mahn is dead. He died in the Jarbo bush while hunting. He was attacked by a hippopotamus.”

Participate with us in praise and prayer:

Pray and Praise: Jacob Holm and Silas Motyka are young men who have joined WSA for 7 months to attend our boot camp training to become the next generation of missionaries.
Praise: Churchless towns of unreached tribes are begging for us to come. There is an avalanche of requests!
Pray: For increased donations so that we may continue to advance into unreached tribes.
Pray: For our indigenous missionary teams, that they will continue to fearlessly, boldly, and sacrificially advance the gospel.
Pray: As we prepare to create and send another indigenous missionary team to the Muslim unreached tribes of Sierra Leone.
Pray: For us, as we march into and live within the strongholds of Satan to, “snatch others from the fire and save them.” Jude 1:23.
Pray: “Finally, our friends, pray for us that the Lord’s message may continue to spread rapidly and be received with honor, just as it was among you. Pray also that God will rescue us from wicked and evil people; for not everyone believes the message.” 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2.
