The Story of the Good Samaritan, April, 2025
“Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest…when he saw the man, he passed… So too, a Levite… saw him, passed by… But a Samaritan, as he traveled… saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him.” Luke 10:30-35
I have often wondered about the rest of the story. Let me tell you about our Good Samaritan story. Some of our leaders had been talking to a Muslim street boy, Musu, about Christ but he wasn’t interested. On Good Friday, one of our leaders saw a crowd. They were looking down on the unconscious badly beaten, half dead, Musu but were doing nothing to assist him. She called some of our leaders, they picked him up and took him to the hospital for treatment and covered all expenses. Musu was released on Easter Morning. Still wounded and having no where to go, he attended the church’s Easter service. He saw their love and had experienced their love. He repented and converted. We have moved him onto our base. His conversion is real! He has cut his hair, works hard on our base, has been baptized and is being discipled. He has even gone on missions with us. He was beat near to death on the day Christ was crucified and as, “Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Romans 6:4. On Easter morning Musu was raised from a dead faith and into a new life. He is now full of hope and joy. He is illiterate and unskilled. Our plan is for him to become a literate, skilled, fruitful disciple.

Returning to USA
I, Kim Smith, have returned to the USA. Arrived on May 12 and will depart on July 19. It is good to be back! I’ve traveled from one of the poorest nations to one of the richest. From shops the size of someone’s garage sale to Walmart.
I want to meet with as many people, small groups and churches as possible. I will be on the East and West Coast and will be in many of the Midwest states. My numbers are (937) 710-1656 and (248)594-2604. Please contact me so we can meet.
Testimonies from our indigenous missionaries sent into the unreached tribes:
(Our base leaders’ testimonies have been slightly edited.)
We are experiencing a great move of the Holy Spirit! These testimonies come from tribes that have never been reached and are thousands of years old, testimonies from communities that have never had a church. These are just a sampling from a multitude of testimonies I receive every month!
The conversion of the Grand Devil: The Devil is the animistic spiritual leader of a group of towns. The Grand Devil is the spiritual leader of many Devils. Animism is worship of spirits, curses, and witchcraft. Killepokaneeken Town is the regional center of Animism. It is also where the Grand Devil lives. Our team entered the town, as is our tradition, and went door to door announcing that we were going to show a movie. We also do teaching of who Christ is as we go door to door. Unknowingly the first house the team entered was the Grand Devil’s. He was a little cynical when they spoke with him. And, as God would have it, he became their house of peace, the house they were to live in for two days while in the town. When the show started few came out of their house to watch out of fear of reprisal from the Devil. As the movie played more and more came out to watch. The show could be heard and seen from the house of the Grand Devil. The next day he requested for the team to bring him a Bible. He said that he believed what he saw in the movie to be true and wanted to become a Christian. He also made it known to the town that they should change from their evil ways and be baptized. We have been invited back to the town.

We went to the beautiful Town of Danrawalie and talked with the chief and the Imam (an Imam is the local spiritual leader of the Muslims) leaders of the town. They allowed us to preach the gospel and to show the Jesus film. Interestingly, the chief told us that they will have a big program and asked us Wordsower Sierra Leone to take part during the program. How could a Muslim man invite Christian missionaries to pray for him? The Bible says every tongue must confess that Jesus is Lord. We are making the gospel available to every person and everybody everywhere needs to hear the gospel. Wordsower, we move!!!!
Our new missionary base in Kabala, Sierra Leone, sent Daniel and Noah for a two-day mission into the unreached Kuranko tribe village of Momomariah. The people had not heard anything about the gospel until we visited them and arranged for the Jesus film to be shown. After the show, 24 people were baptized and 30 others confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior. Our prayer and desire is to train two or three to be spiritual leaders to form and lead a new church. Brother Noah, will be going there for devotions, discipleship, and conduct church services.
Praise God, for today’s successful mission in Makarprri and Masheka communities. We gave out their certificates of baptism. With God, all things are considered and possible. Wordsower Sierra Leone we move!!! We go where others are not want to go. It is preferable, in the sight of Almighty God, to do His work reaching the unreached churchless communities.

Our team arrived in Kumala town for mission. They are an unreached churchless community. The team did door to door evangelism and showed the Jesus film that night. During the film they explained to the crowd of three hundred and fifty-plus, how the Lord Jesus suffered for our sins and offers forgiveness for our sins. Muslim families saw the gospel on the screen and heard the explanation from our field leaders. Many were able to understand, repented and accepted Christ Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord. The next morning 4 families demanded immediate baptism. We left and returned a few days later. When we arrived, we learned that a terrible thing had happened. One of the ladies, that had given her life to Christ Jesus but had not yet been baptized, was cooking and left the food on the fire. When she returned the food had been poisoned. Her and her 3 children were very sick and almost died. By God’s grace some were able to vomit the poisoned food. They were taken to the hospital for treatment. When our team heard the news about the woman, we went to sympathize with her. She was helpless and alone with her three children. But they have persevered!!! They said that once they had heard the good news of Christ and saw for themselves the love of Christ in the show that they would follow the truth that was revealed to them, even unto death. The next morning the family was baptized with joy. The Muslims are jealous and are wanting to see the Christian families, from their town, deep in the grave. Folks of the Lord, see how wicked they are. Please, be in prayer with our team and the family, for a speedy recovery.
“We are fearless soldiers moving with the gospel into the churchless villages of the Kuranko, Limba, Mandingo, Yalunka and Fullah unreached tribes. Jesus said we, His disciples, must go to make disciples, baptize, and teach.
The God of yesterday, today and forever has been with us while doing missions. Service went well yesterday in Kodokosan. The town people had promised to give us a piece of land outside the town for us to build a place to worship but for over two months they have delayed in providing the land. So, we decided to build a temporary tent in the middle of the town to worship and the worship service went well. Now that they see that we are serious and are worshipping in the center of the town. They are now afraid and are making ways, as soon as possible, to give us the spot they promised at the edge of the town. Their fear is that if we continue to worship in the center of the town that the people will stop going to the mosque.
Participate with us in praise and prayer:
Pray: For our new indigenous missionary base in Sierra Leone as they enter into 3 unreached tribes.
Praise: I have returned to the USA for 10 weeks
Pray: That my time in the USA will be fruitful and restful
Praise: Churchless towns of unreached tribes are begging for us to come. There is an avalanche of requests!
Pray: For increased donations so that we may continue to advance into unreached tribes
Pray: For our indigenous missionary teams, that they will continue to fearlessly, boldly, and sacrificially advance the gospel
Pray: For us, as we march into and live within the strongholds of Satan to, “snatch others from the fire and save them.” Jude 1:23
Pray: “Finally, our friends, pray for us that the Lord’s message may continue to spread rapidly and be received with honor, just as it was among you. Pray also that God will rescue us from wicked and evil people; for not everyone believes the message.” 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2
