A Wordsower Trained Disciple’s Testimony
Our Lord unites us with those He has prepared. Below is a testimony of one our Lord united us with. This is what Prince spoke, in is his words, with very little editing:
“Hello, my name is Prince Kegbeh. I was selling drugs behind the Wordsower property and formed a ghetto for addicts to get high. I was in the house smoking drugs with friends when Kim came to my door. He spoke about Jesus and that Jesus wanted me. But I refused, yet Kim continued to come. One day my mother said listen to the white man. But I said God and Kim can’t give me money like my drug business can. One day, I was walking in the bush doing my business. I fell to the ground unconscious, a voice said, “I sent my servant to you to deliver you from the hand of the devil. If you continue to refuse Me, you will lose your life.” I was very scared and went back to my house. The next day Wordsower Bible School level 1 was starting. I gathered my mother, sisters, my woman and we all went to the school. At the end of the school we repented, believed and were baptized.
So, I went back to the different Ghettos to teach what I learned but they beat me. I was scared to return. But Kim encouraged me and went with me back into the ghettos. We did that many times even turned some ghettos into small Christian gatherings.
After attending Wordsower Bible School levels 2-4, Wordsower invited me to be trained to pull teeth. I haven’t even gone far in school. We were taught by ITEC, a Christian group, in America, to extract teeth. They have trained us in many different skills. Now I am employed by Wordsower and I have been pulling teeth for 8 years. We pull 20-30 teeth a month. I even flew in a small plane from Wordsower base to the capital for more dental training, I was scared! I wore my strongest shoes so I could jump out if it was going to crash.
Plenty times, I go into the bush villages to evangelize, baptize, disciple, show the Jesus film, and start churches. I say thanks for the good work God has done in my life.”

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Romans 8:28
Throughout our history we have seen the hand of our Lord on us. If our eyes are open, we will observe Him working good in all situations. Often what appears to be our problem is, in reality, the timing and purpose of our Lord:
“Today I had a breakdown (motorbike breakdown) in Tenebu. While in the process, God led us to Thomas Blama. He was just passing and decided to know who I was and why on the bike was printed WSA? I told him all about Wordsower and our operational team in Lofa County. He was glad and is happy to work with us. He is requesting for us to show the Jesus film as well as a day training in his village.” Often, breakdowns us reveal to us a new assigned mission from our Lord.
Our Lord introduced me to a 23-year-old girl, Alice, that has a severe flesh-eating bacterium that has seriously rotted her leg. The pictures and video of the leg wound are too graphic to be sent out. A team in America saw the video and have taken on prayer for her and the financial responsibility for the operations and skin grafts. I took Alice and her caregiver sister, Wenifred, to a Monrovia hospital. The hospital urgently needed type O+ blood for a transfusion. I, not living in Monrovia, contacted all I knew to donate but was unable to find a donor. As I was returning to my sleeping place I prayed; “Lord, this is Your project. I’m waiting for Your solution.” When I returned to my sleeping place, I was explaining the need to those around. Two military soldiers were listening. One said, “My assignment is to save lives. I will go with you just now.” Our Lord had him at exactly the right place at the right time to meet the urgent needs of Alice. These soldiers live 1 ½ hours away and just decided to visit their friend that hadn’t seen for long. They arrived moments before I arrived.

Assisting in the construction of church buildings for new congregations
It is best that new congregations unite to construct their own church building. But we encourage by assisting. Typically, we will give $500-$700 and send a team to help. Often, until they have a building, they will meet under the trees or in an abandoned buildings in the community. Below are some pictures of a church building, in use, under construction in River Gee County, Liberia.

Testimonies from our indigenous missionaries sent into the unreached tribes:
(Our base leaders’ testimonies have been slightly edited.)
We are experiencing a great move of the Holy Spirit! These testimonies come from tribes that have been unreached for thousands of years, from communities that have never had a church.
“Glory be to God, for the strength and energy given to us. We reached one of the unreached tribe communities called Makembanhun for Sunday service. We had shone the Jesus film, and taught there before. After showing the Jesus film and teaching, we were able to baptize 32. The following week brother Michael Kamara baptized 52 more. It has brought joy to the people and the town! To keep them on board for Christ we visit them often to nourish them with the words of God for more encouragement because they have come from the Muslim back ground.”

“There’s fire on the mountain in Sierra Leone. The Lord has done it again. Yesterday our team was led by the Holy Spirit, to one of the unreached churchless communities called Mafonike. The team faced many challenges, which was beyond their expectations, from a Muslim man who’s the chairman of the community. Surprisingly, he misbehaved towards our team. More people talked about this chairman of how bad and wicked he is in their community. He is always cursing Christians. This wicked chairman will waste water or beat on people that carry the gospel into his community. He said to our team, that this community is for Muslims, no Christian is allowed to preach Christ. He is so wicked; he started cursing our team and even stopped them from digging the holes to plant sticks for the Jesus film screen. The people said, our team was lucky that he did not harm them immediately, because that is his usual habit to Christians that try to come into their community. But praise God, for His intervention, the team was able to bear all the persecution, as living sacrifices, and showed the Jesus film. About eighty people gave their lives to Christ Jesus that very night. We have continued our visitations to disciple and encourage those who gave their lives to Christ Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord. Our visitations have been very impact on the new converts. They are zealous, and are even asking Wordsower Africa for help with a church building. From the genesis, Christ Jesus said, that his followers will suffer for imitating him. As living sacrifices, we will never relent, we don’t care how hot the fire is blasting. We will always move as led by the Holy Spirit, no fear.” The chairman was able to fight against our team but not against the Holy Spirit. Against the chairman’s will, we have 80 converts meeting and are planning on putting up a church building!
“Many thanks to the almighty God for successful training to Makorongbo village. Makorongbo village is the center of the country’s society (Animistic demonic religion), where they carry girls into the forest for ungodly initiations. By the grace of God, we were able to capture the area last year with the gospel. Their Church roof construction is ongoing. We praise God for the good attendance of our training, 98 attended. 20 people gave their lives to Christ Jesus and after the training were baptized. Everyone everywhere needs to hear the Gospel. Wordsower Sierra Leone, we move!!!”

“Passion, commitment, faithfulness of living sacrifices is required, and must be accompanied by implementation. Movement is our portion and we will never relent in doing our duties for Christ Jesus’s mission. Our team is leaving for four days mission to one of the unreached districts called Kono. As soldiers of the Lord, we go. Please folks, of the Lord, be in prayer with the team for a safe journey. Everyone everywhere needs the gospel.”
These are just a sampling from a multitude of testimonies I receive every month!
Participate with us in praise and prayer:
Praise: Our second base in Sierra Leone is now open and in operation. It is our 7th indigenous mission base and is assigned to 3 unreached tribes.
Praise: Churchless towns of unreached tribes are begging for us to come. There is an avalanche of requests!
Pray: For increased donations so that we may continue to advance into unreached tribes
Pray: For our indigenous missionary teams, that they will continue to fearlessly, boldly, and sacrificially advance the gospel
Pray: For us, as we march into and live within the strongholds of Satan to, “snatch others from the fire and save them.” Jude 1:23
Pray: “Finally, our friends, pray for us that the Lord’s message may continue to spread rapidly and be received with honor, just as it was among you. Pray also that God will rescue us from wicked and evil people; for not everyone believes the message.” 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2
