Thank you! Because of our unity, in Christ, this end of year report has been made possible. We, His Church, have been commanded to take the truth of the Gospel to every nation, tribe, language and people.

“For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ… Now you are Christ’s body, and individually members of it.” 1 Corinthians 12:12 and 27. We are all in this together, as His Church. We all have the same assignment. The assignment to take the truth of our Lord to all creation.

Wordsower Africa has several branches of outreach. One of our most exciting is the training and sending indigenous missionary teams into the unreached tribes. We now have six indigenous missionary teams living and working within unreached tribes in the West African countries of Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast and Guinea. There are 82 unreached tribes in these four countries. We are working within 12 of them. There are still 70 unreached tribes within these four countries that we are not working in. Our hope and prayer is that one day we can have an indigenous missionary team working within each of these 70 other unreached tribes.

What we accomplished as the family of God, in 4 countries, in 2023:

• • 7,130 made public confessions of faith in Jesus Christ2,316 were baptized

• • 2,862 times we entered villages and towns when on mission trips as ministers

• • 687 times we entered churches and trained leaders and congregations.

• • 16 times we assisted in starting new churches

• • 1,607 times we sent out teams on mission trips

• • 1,167 attendances in our Bible institute classes, 1 and 2 week trainings

• • 7,358 attended our 1-3 day trainings on discipleship and church leadership

• • 74,000 watched evangelistic films, like the Jesus Film

• • 5 radio stations we broadcast from regularly

• • 323 teeth were pulled from 262 patients by our dental team

• • 345,000 pages were printed by our printing press team

For this is what the Lord has commanded us:
“‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.

Jesus said:

• • “The gospel must first be preached to all nations.” Mark 13:10

• • “Go and make disciples of all nations.” Matthew 28:19

• • “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Mark 16:15

 

Today, there are 17,281 tribes in the world. 7,248 of these tribes, 41.9%, are unreached. There are over 8 billion people in the world, over 3 billion, 42.4% are unreached.¹ These statistics about the unreached tribes put a fire in my bones:

• • Only 2.7% of all missionaries go to the unreached tribes.²

• • Only 0.098% of donated money for Christian causes went for missions among the unreached tribes!! In 2017 $896 billion was donated for Christian causes. From that $896 billion it is estimated that $880 million was used to work among unreached tribes.²

• • There is 1 missionary for every 405,500 Muslims.²

• • There were 900 churches for every one unreached people group. There are 54,056 Evangelical Christians for every one unreached people group.²
